Feb 19, 2015Leasburg Dam State Park: Site #31 & #6, these sites have water & electric, dump station nearby, 29 sites, 4,200 foot elevation. February 19th - 25th.
Overall Experience:
We arrived at Leasburg with a three-day reservation because last spring, we couldn't get in without a reservation (we don't like making reservations). We find plenty to do in the area, so we scored one of few first come/first serve sites with water & electricity to extend our stay.

Unusual NM State Park in the sense that they allow visitors to collect rocks they find. During our visit, we noticed that the park hosts were accommodating and user-friendly.
